Los Angeles Blog 3

How the author describes the environment is actually really tricky. He doesn’t always describe the environment quite obvious like other authors. Other authors describes it more obvious like, Angel went in to a room with white wallpapers and black furniture but Peter Moore Smith doesn’t always describe it that way. Of course does he describe some room pretty well, but there is sometimes the reader will have to figure out how the environment looks like.

For example in Angela’s apartment I got the feeling that it were very sloppy and the smell I got were not nice. It felt like a very old apartment and not only her but also the hole house. He did not describe that it smelled like I felt, I just got that feeling because they both didn’t have a good job with good salary that was why, I could be wrong.

It is really important for the author to describe the environment because it facilitates to the reader to read the book and understand what is happening. If it could have been different and still given the same story, it depends on who is reading the book, i think that every reader will interpreting it different. Because everyone won’t think of the environment to be the same so they will interpret it how the want.
