The War of The Worlds Blog 6
“The War of The Worlds” by H.G. Wells is definitely worth a read. I think this because it is one of the first Science Fiction books ever written and it’s great and exciting to follow the character(s) on their adventures. If you’re into adventure and horror I would recommend this a 100 %. There’s also a movie which is worth watching.
The thing I thought made this book unique was the way the different situations were described and how the main character interact with other people along the journey. Also, the fact that it is one of the first Sci-Fi novels ever written is pretty cool. The way the martians are described is also quite nice, the way they go from being harmless to being the most evil things on earth. The older language is pretty nice to read actually since there's so many words that I knew about, but actually never seen any one use before.
If you like to follow people on survival adventures and also like sci-fi this book is perfect! There’s quite a lot of action going on, but also a big amount of drama and tense moments. I think this novel/book has the perfect mix of excitement, adventure, horror and drama.
