The Prince of Mist-3
Zafon describes what surrounds the characters the whole time in this book. He does often describe the expression in the characters faces, especially how their eyes looks like. I think that this is one of the most important things to get a good story, it gives the reader a chance to see the sides of the characters that they doesn’t reveal just by talking.
I think that when Zafon describes another kind of environment, like how a house or a three looks like isn’t that important as the expression in the characters faces. This kind of description does rather help me to imagine the story in my own head. It isn’t the most important part to make a good story, but it makes the reading more realistic and the reader can draw parallels to their own life.
In this book is the description of the weather very important. The reader can almost be sure that when the mist slowly get thicker, is something bad close to happen.
