I think the turning point is when Amir learns that Hassan is his brother, and then he learns that Hassan is dead. While he learns that he is dead so he thinks back and understand why Baba was always so kind to Hassan and it was for that Hassan was his son. Then, as he learns that Hassan had a child named Soharb and he's in Amir's homeland. The solution is that Amir will try to save him and bring him to the United States so that he can live a normal life with Amir. I'm happy with the solution because I think it's good because he'll try to find Soharb who is Amir's nephew and that is why it is so good for him to find a family member and bring him to the United States.     

I do not miss anything in the solution for you to know exactly what he should do to find Sohrab and you know that he will do everything to find him and bring him to the United States.
