Second blog post - The Exorcist
The main characters in this book are Chris a movie actor, her daughter Regan and a priest Karras. The story of the book is centered around Regan, a little girl which is introduced early in the book and is presented as being very playful and happy. Chris seems like a very caring mother and takes care of Regan even though her husband left them, even with her busy schedule as an actor. Karras is also intoduced early on in the book but doesn't get involved in the plot for a little while, I get the impression that he's a very intellectual man that thinks about what to do rather than jumping into it.
As I mentioned earlier the story revolves around Regan, she's the "possesed" person in the story. You can kind of say she's the main character but she really doesn't do anything, its rather the demon possesing her that actually talks and performs all her actions for her, atleast in the later parts of the book.
Chris is trying to get her daughter better and goes with her to the best doctors in the country and is always trying to make Regan better.
Karras is a character that hangs around through the entire book but only starts taking action after all the doctors has failed. When Chris starts believing an exorcism is the only cure for Regan after she's read up about exorcism.
