In the previous post I wrote that the book consists of two main characters. One named Tyler Durden and the other you not know the name of. The man without name is a typical office worker with a very " normal" life. He looks like an ordinary person. He has big sleeping problems that interferes very much. He is trying to change it and goes on some rehabilitation evening an afternoon that is for people with cancer. There are people with huge problems and here they really cry out their unhappiness. For the person with no name, this is an incredible relief to be able to drop everything and just cry. It will also ensure that he can sleep again at night . On one of these evenings the character with no name meet a woman. He realizes quickly that she's not there because she had cancer , but for another reason just like himself. Her name is Mary Singer and is a very strange person. She is not particularly rich and dressed in a dark and gloomy way. You gets the feeling that she has had a lot of problems in their life and don´t care that much. The man without name think it's a problem with both is the same place where he can not cry when she is in the room. They put up a scheme on what nights they should go to not be there at same time. Later in the book the characters meet again . The last main character is Tyler Durden. The person without a name meet him at an airplane. He is also a "normal" person who does not make much noise. The person without a name and Tyler become friends and get together more and more and doing different things during the book.
