Blog post three - Where eagles dare
The description of the environment in the book is very important for the story. Actually i¨ve never read a book that is so detailed before. The author decribes all kinds of smells, feelings and almost every other adjective in the surroundings.
Because of the story mostly plays out in the Alps, there is many kinds of feelings to describe. The author often describes the biting cold the Task force have to endure. All the describings in the book is performed in a certain kind of way. It´s so detailed you can almost feel the cold to your cheeks.
If the author hadn't been so exact with the description of the environment, the story shouldn¨t have the same sharpness and amusement level whlie you're reading it.
So a little summary of this particular blog post. The book is extremly describing. Both what it comes down to with characters, feelings and actions. The sharpness of the book is very good, mostly because of the way the author makes it easy to percieve all the happenings in the story.
