This is pretty hard to tell because everybody in this story has an internal conflict, the conflict is about making specific choices depending on the situation. While the story as a whole is more of a ‘’us vs him’’ and they are supposed to be the good ones and the one who isolated them on the island is the villain. Basically, it’s a external conflict but within this external conflict lies many internal conflicts. The whole book starts with them being invited to an island and everybody is a little suspicious about it all and thats why I think it’s from the start an external conflict even though the whole book is spent discussing internal conflicts. It’s not really a straight forward book since there are so many thing going on at the same time it’s kind of a dairy that gives us a story.
