The story takes place on an island called ”Soldier Island”, it is a beautiful island with a nice view, pretty far away from mainland and on the island there is a big modern house where they stay. The house has two floors, a big dining room, a kitchen and several bedrooms. Kind of reminds me of the Ljungnäs villa. Because the story takes place on an island where the house is pretty close to the water it probably smells like the sea quite a lot. I think that the enviroment is very important for the story, the story is basically about ten persons who dies, one after an other and where can this happen without anyone noticing? On an island far away from the mainland. If the environment would’ve changed the story wouldn’t be the same. The enviroment gives a feel of peace and then something like that happens, it’s just very unexpected. It’s also really hard to escape from an island far away from the mainland if you don’t have a boat, and this is why the environment is important for the story.
