And then there were none 2

In this book everyone basically are the main characters. What I mean is that there are ten people that the story is about. They live in the house on Soldier Island where they have been invited to. The author doesn’t present the characters so much, the only ”real” fact you will get from the book about the characters is what some of them are working with and their stories. The stories are about how everyone in the house killed someone or caused someone’s death in some other way. Why the author doesn’t present the characters so much is probably because it isn’t important for the ”mystery” in the house, their actions are the things that are more important for the story. Anyways, Judge Lawrence Wargrave that is the first character that Agatha Christie presents in her book is a retired judge. He’s an old intelligent man and has a commanding personality. This man is basically the leader of the group. Dr. Edward George Armstrong is the doctor in the group. Armstrong is the one who often suspects the other guests in the house because of his medical knowledge. He doesn’t really have a strong personality and is therefore a great ”tool” for the murderer in the house. Other characters than the main characters that are presented in the book aren’t many. I remember one person that Christie presents early in the book, it’s an old man that says ”There’s a squall coming.”. I don’t really think Christie presents more characters than him and the main characters.
